I'm Heather Monnett, and I rehair and restore violin, viola, cello, and bass bows. I began rehairing bows when I realized students and teachers in Utah County had to commute over 50 miles for a decent rehair. I was trained and certified by bowmaker Ed Candland in St. George, Utah in traditional French techniques to better serve the musicians in the community.

Violin/viola/cello rehair $80
Bass rehair $100
Rehairs are always done with new, high quality hair. Currently available are Mongolian white hair or black hair.
Every bow will also be cleaned, polished, and oiled during the rehair. All mortises will be checked for proper angles and depth, and corrected if necessary.
Winding replacement (silver plated copper or silk) $80
Includes the replacement of the leather grip.

Frog restoration, price varies
Deep cleaning. Before on the right and after on the left.
Frog restoration. Regluing shattered parts and adding invisible cleats for stability.
Tip replacement. Hand carved to absolute precision.
Winding and grip replacement. Always with high quality, sustainable materials.
